Frank P. Kerstetter, 70, of Linesville, died Thursday, June 15, 2000, at Meadville Medical Center following a period of declining health.
He was born November 11, 1929, in Bradford, a son of the late Arthur and Mary Holly Kerstetter. He married Marion Simons September 13, 1947 and she survives.
He worked for over 20 years as a machine operator for Utility Constructors of Linesville. He was a Veteran of the US Air Force having served from 1950 to 1951. He was of the Protestant faith and enjoyed boating, traveling, crafts, hunting and fishing.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include four sons, Robert Kerstetter (Debra) of Quantico, VA, Roger Kerstetter of Linesville, Frank Kerstetter of Willow Creek, AK and Richard Kerstetter (Julie) of Linesville; three daughters, Kathleen Wilson (Robert) of Bartlett, TN, Deborah Maloney of Meadville and Darlene McCauley of Linesville; eighteen grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; one brother, Jay Skagg of Warren and nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by three brothers, Charles Huber, James Skaggs and Jack Skaggs and one sister, Mary Kerstetter.
Services were held at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.
Interment was in Linesville Cemetery.
