Franklin D. “Frank” Clark, 87 of Stoneboro, passed away on June 10, 2021 at UPMC Horizon- Greenville. Frank was born in Delaware Grove, Mercer County, on October 4, 1933 to the late Charles R. and Clara S. (Redfood) Clark. He was a graduate of Penn High School class of 1951 in Greenville and went on to proudly serve his Country in the United States Navy from 1951-1954. Frank worked for many years as a Fitter and Welder for Chicago Bridge and Iron in Greenville and Quality Steel Fabrication in Transfer. He married his beloved wife, Marlene E. Beers on June 4, 1955, the couple recently celebrated 66 years together. She survives at home. Frank was a member of the Grace Baptist Church in Greenville and enjoyed attending when he was able. He enjoyed being outdoors, hunting, and especially fishing. He was an avid Pittsburgh Steelers and Pirates fan. He enjoyed gardening and bowling on many leagues with his wife, as well as traveling for bingo with his wife. Most of all he loved his children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren. In addition to his wife, Frank is survived by his children, Matthew (Wendy) Clark of Clarks Mills, Colleen Schmidt of Oil City, and Rosalynn (Brian) Reagle of Stoneboro, grandchildren Tracy Whittman, Mackenzie and Ryan Clark, Charles “Joey” and Robert Lasalle, Nicole Englert, Nicholas Carey, and Emily and Loren Reagle, great-grandchildren Brayden McFetridge and Grant Clark, and brother Glenn Clark of Greenville, as well as many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Frank was preceded in death by his infant daughter Heather Marie, and five of his siblings. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to Rose and Black Funeral Home & Crematory, Inc. Stoneboro & Sandy Lake. A private memorial service will be held.
