Fred Feldmiller, 83, of Cochranton, who was injured in a truck-car collision Monday night, died at City Hospital shortly before midnight yesterday.
Feldmiller and his brother, George, Meadville, suffered multiple lacerations of the face and scalp when their truck and a car operated by Thomas Karns of Cochranton, collided. The accident occurred on the Cochranton Pettis Road.
Dr. Sherman L. Watson, county coroner, issued no statement on the death last night. He said his report would be ready after an investigation today.
State police issued a similar report, saying they would have to investigate the case further before a report could be made.
Feldmiller was a member of St. Paul's Evangelical and Reformed Church.
He spent his entire life on his farm in Wayne Township.
Survivors, in addition to his brother, include one sister, Mrs. Robert Bell of Hyattsville, MD.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
