Fred William Dupont

Fred William DuPont, 78, of Meadville, died at his home, Monday morning, April 20, 1959, after a year of failing health.

He was born in Wayne Township, January 15, 1881, a son of Joseph and Elizabeth Messerall DuPont, and married the former Elnora McDaniel.

He was a carpenter and previously a farmer in West Mead Township, and a member of the First Presbyterian Church.

Besides his widow, he is survived by a sister, Mrs. Clara Consider of Erie; two brothers, Hugh A. of Meadville and Dudley J. of Sugar Lake and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
