Fred Willoughby

Fred Willoughby, 75, formerly of Meadville, died at Conneautville Nursing Home Wednesday, October 22, 1975, after being transferred to the home from City Hospital where he had been a patient for two months.

Born in Hawk Run. Clearfield County, on June 22, 1900, he was a son of John and Lillian Willoughby.  He married Anna Smeltzer.  Mr. Willoughby was a truck driver for many years for several local beverage distributors.

Survivors include his widow; three daughters, Mrs. Margaret Daughenbaugh and Mrs. Williams (Ethel) Dittrich, both of Meadville and Mrs. Donald (Alice) Huneycutt of Swansboro, NC; a son, James R. of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. Iva Shiffler of Florida; eleven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a son, Fred, two sisters and a half brother.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Radle Cemetery.
