Frederic Paul Stark

Frederic Paul Stark, 35, of Iron Station, NC, died Sunday, December 4, 1994, in North Carolina after a brief illness.

He was born in Meadville, March 6, 1959, a son of Frederic N. and Mary Ellen McCaughtry Stark.

He was owner and operator of Starr Complete Tree Service and president of Starr Developers, Inc., both of Lincoln County, NC.

He had attended Meadville Area Senior High School where he was a member of the wrestling team.  He achieved his general equivalency diploma in 1980.

Survivors included his companion, Tammy Douglas of Gastonia, NC; his mother and stepfather, Mary Ellen and Rodney Axtell of Charlotte, NC; his father and stepmother, Frederic and Paula Stark of Cochranton; a daughter, Ciera Shay Stark of Gastonia; a sister, Deborah Ianello of Erie; three brothers, Kurt Stark of Charlotte, Jonathan Axtell of Gastonia and Kent Stark of Meadville; maternal grandmother, Ida McCaughtry of Meadville; an aunt, several uncles and cousins.

He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Clarence and Mary Jayne Stark and maternal grandfather, William McCaughtry.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
