Frederick J. Fox

Frederick J. Fox, 87, of Meadville, died Wednesday, February 11, 1987, at his home following a lengthy illness.

He was born in Union Township, Crawford County, September 9, 1899, a son of William J. and Emma Feldmiller Fox.

He married Mabelle A. Doutt in 1932.  She preceded her in death in 1984.

Mr. Fox had worked as an estimator for the PA Engineering Corp. of New Castle, retiring in 1959.  He was affiliated with St. Paul's United Church of Christ.  He was a member of Masonic Lodge 408, Solomon Royal Arch Chapter 191 and Northwestern Commandry 25, all of Meadville, and Zem Zem Shrine Temple, Erie.

Survivors include a brother, Theodore W. Fox of Meadville; and several cousins.  In addition to his wife, he was preceded in death by a sister, Betty Lane.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Denny Cemetery.
