Frederick Joseph Hoegerl, 54, of Meadville, died Saturday, January 6, 1996, at Meadville Medical Center, following an illness of 7 years. He was born in Meadville, May 31, 1941, a son of Joseph and Rose Campanio Hoegerl. He married the former Nancy Carr, March 13, 1971, she survives.
He was a Journeyman Tool and Die Maker, and had last worked for Toolex of Meadville and had previously worked for Pro Form Tool Co. of Meadville. He was a 1959 graduate of Meadville Area Senior High School, a member of Meadville Sertoma Club, Italian Civic Club, VFW Post #2006, and St. Brigid Roman Catholic Church.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Samantha Hoegerl of Meadville; two sons, James Joseph Hoegerl and Joseph Jason Hoegerl, both of Meadville; two grandchildren; his father, Joseph Hoegerl of Blooming Valley; a sister, Dallas Folmar of Baton Rogue, LA; two brothers, Richard Hoegerl of Linesville and Thomas Hoegerl of Edinboro; also aunts, uncles, and cousins.
He was preceded in death by his mother, Rose and a granddaughter, Samantha Crawford.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in St. Agatha's Cemetery.
