Gary L. Praisner

Gary L. Praisner, 68, of Meadville, passed away Friday, April 1, 2022 at Meadville Medical Center.

He was born September 10, 1953, in Meadville, a son of the late Stanley and Jessie Marie Davis Praisner.  He married the former Patricia Norris on May 7, 1977.  She survives.

Gary was a 1972 graduate of Meadville High School.  He was employed in the maintenance department of Meadville Medical Center for over 20 years.  He previously worked as an industrial electrician at Seco-Warwick for 12 years.

He enjoyed fishing, cooking, gardening and playing with his granddaughters.

In addition to his wife, Patricia, of 44 years, he is survived by a son, Troy Praisner (Justina) of Meadville; his granddaughters, Jada and Teigan Praisner; a sister, Deborah LaFontaine (Chris) of Indian Harbor Beach, FL; two brothers, Robert Praisner (Pyong) of Meadville and Richard Praisner (Regina) of Escondido, CA; and many nieces and a nephew.

Visitation will be held Saturday, April 9, 2022 from 1-3 p.m. at the ROBERT W. WAID FUNERAL HOME, INC., 581 Chestnut St., Meadville, with the memorial service to follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Jane Ellen Nickell, officiating.

Memorial donations may be made to the Crawford County Humane Society, 11012 Kennedy Hill Road, Meadville.
