Genevieve C. Scott

Mrs. Genevieve C. Scott of Meadville, died at City Hospital Wednesday, February 4, 1970, after a long illness.

She was born in Cleveland, a daughter of Robert F. and Clarissa Lillibridge Hayes.  She was the widow of Don Walter Scott, who died in 1954.

Mrs. Scott was past president of the Meadville Woman's Club of the local YWCA.  She was a charter member of the Fine Arts Assn. and was also a member of the Woman's Club at Chautaqua, NY and Stone United Methodist Church.

Mrs. Scott and her husband ran the Golding Rooming House at Chautauqua for many seasons.

There are no survivors.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
