George A. Feldmiller, 82, of Meadville, a retired businessman, died Monday, April 4, 1960, at City Hospital after an illness of three months. He had been hospitalized seven weeks.
Feldmiller operated a grocery store in Meadville for 30 years and was in the farm machinery business for 10 years. He also was a retired farmer, in which he was engaged as a hobby.
Born in Wayne Township, August 25, 1877, he was a son of Frederick and Elizabeth Hoffman Feldmiller. He married Clara Heath September 28, 1909. He lived in Meadville for 56 years.
Feldmiller was a member of the Evangelical and Reformed Church, the Cussewago Odd Fellows Lodge for 61 years and of Olympas Encampment.
He is survived by his widow; a son, Charles H. of Crafton; a daughter, Mrs. F. Arden (Gertrude) Ferguson of Meadville; a sister, Mrs. Uda F. Bell of Los Angeles; five grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
