George A. Reynolds

August 1, 1871 — January 1, 1753

George A. Reynolds, 83, of Blooming Valley, died Saturday morning at Smith Institute, Saegertown, following a month's illness.

Born at Vernon Township, son of the late Edward A. and Katherine Kellogg Reynolds, he lived in Colorado for many years.  He went west in the early part of the century and staked a gold mine claim in the Rocky Mountains in Colorado, remaining there for many years.  He returned to Crawford County in 1928 and made his home at Blooming Valley, where he lived with a sister, Mrs. Louise R. Drake.

He was a member of Idaho Spings Lodge 26, AF and AM, and was awarded a 50 year pin by the lodge three years ago.

Other survivors include a brother, Arthur D. Reynolds of Blooming Valley and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
