George A. Wiltrout

April 4, 1906 — January 1, 1753

George A. Wiltrout, 46, of Meadville, died suddenly at his work at the local American Viscose Corp. plant today following a heart attack.

He had been employed at the Avisco plant as a power house attendant for the past 16 years.

He spent his early life at Ellwood City where he attended school, and later resided at Conneaut Lake.  He served four years in the US Air Corps in the late 1920s.

Surviving are his widow, the former Violet Curtis of Ellwood City; three daughters, Frances, Shirley and Margaret at home; two sons, John and Willard, at home; his mother, Mrs. S. W. Wiltrout of Conneaut Lake; a sister, Mrs. Homer Johnson of Conneaut Lake; four brothers, Herbert of Fort Worth, TX and Merrill, Carl and Raymond, all of Ellwood City and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
