George Blaine Worley, 72, of Conneaut Lake died Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at the Meadville Medical Center.
He was born in Meadville March 3, 1948 a son of Orville and Mary Fletcher Worley. He was a graduate of Saegertown High School and was a veteran of the Vietnam War serving in the US Marine Corps. He was a member of the International Assoc. of Heat & Frost Insulators & Allied Workers Local #35, Youngstown, OH. He enjoyed working in his yard on his John Deere tractor.
He is survived by a daughter, Dawn Zappas of Conneaut Lake; a son, Christopher Worley of Girard; four grandchildren, Brooke Copeland, Stephen Zappas, Charleigh Zappas and Angel Bartholomew; a great granddaughter, Peyton Hoey and his best friend, Lynn Bartholomew.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Graveside service will be Saturday, September 5th at 11:30 a.m. at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 17045 Conneaut Lake Road, Meadville with military honors provided by Huidekoper VFW Post 2006. Family and friends are invited to gather at Tavern 618 on the West Side of Conneaut Lake after the service.
