George Calvin Weston

December 18, 1888 — January 1, 1753

George Calvin Weston, 65, of Meadville, died yesterday morning at Spencer Hospital following an illness of three weeks.

A native of Venango County, he spent most of his life at Rocky Grove before moving to Meadville 22 years ago.

He was a tool and die maker, recently retired and had been employed by Talon, Inc. and other industrial plants.

He was a member of First Presbyterian Church and Lodge 408, F & AM.  He had been active in Rocky Grove Presbyterian Church.

Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Cora V. Weston; two sons, Russell of Greenville and Paul of Meadville; two brothers, J. Orville Weston of Richmond, CA and Cyrus W. Weston of Franklin; three sisters, Mrs. S. R. Porter of Evans City, Mrs. George Wright of Franklin and Mrs. Q. E. Evans of Pueblo, CO and two grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Franklin Cemetery, Rocky Grove, PA.
