George M. Harvey

Goerge M. Harvey, 81, of Guys Mills, died Monday, February 8, 1988, at Meadville Medical Center following a lengthy illness.

Mr. Harvey was born in Madera, May 11, 1906, a son of Alfred and Phoebe Prichard Harvey.  He married Eva K. Weaver November 11, 1925.  She survives.

He retired in 1969 from Midland Steel Co., Cleveland, OH as a machine operator after 33 years of service.  He was of the Methodist faith.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Margaret Niemi of Andover, OH and Lucille Malcolm of Arizona; two sons, Lyle Harvey of Arizona and Leroy George Harvey of Hubbard, OH; four sisters, Betty Cline of Slippery Rock and Harriet Bennet, Mary Vogt and Jean Kowalzuck, all of Pittsburgh; four borthers, William Waite, Zebual Waite and Robert Waite, all of Cleveland and Orie Waite of Houtzdale; twenty-one grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Frederick Harvey, one sister and two brothers.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Black Ash Cemetery.
