George T. Klinger

George T. Klinger, 82, a former Meadville resident died Tuesday, October 9, 1979, at Grandview Health Care, Inc., Franklin, following an illness of several months.

Klinger was born in Franklin on June 12, 1897, a son of Joseph R. and Laura Brown Klinger.

He was married to Helen Limber, who died in 1974.

He operated Klinger's Variety stores in Conneaut Lake and Linesville for many years.

He was a member of the First Presbyterian Church of Meadville, the Masonic Lodge No. 375, Bedford, OH and the Coudersport Consistory.

He is survived by two brothers, Joseph Klinger of Franklin and Robert Klinger of Pampa, TX, and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Greendale Cemetery.
