George W. Deremer

May 1, 1869 — January 1, 1753

George W. DeRemer, 76, well-known resident of Randolph Township, died Sunday noon at Meadville City Hospital where he had been ill for the past three weeks.

Engaged in lumber and mill operations, he had been employed by various farms, among them the Shreve Lumber Company of Union City and Diamond Match Company.  He also engaged in farming in Randolph Township.

He is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Olive Culver of Meadville and Mrs. Stanley Rotkievecz of Guys Mills; two sons, Fred and Jacob of Guys Mills; fifteen grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
