Georgia M. Getchell

Mrs. Georgia M. Getchell, 75, former resident of Meadville, and a patient for over two years at United Methodist Nursing Hospital, died Friday, May 17, 1974, at City Hospital where she had been a patient for one day.

Born at New Lebanon, Mercer County, August 31, 1898, she was a daughter of Delbert and Luella Noel Moore.  Her first husband, Alfred E. Dickey, died in 1928.  She later married Warren D. Getchell.  She retired from employment in the credit department of Talon Division of Textron in 1962.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church.

Survivors, in addition to her husband, include, a son, William D. Dickey of Pittsburgh; two sisters, Mrs Mildred Wilson of Warren, OH and Mrs. Ernest (Nelle) Nagel of Meadville and two grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Franklin Cemetery.
