Geraldine B. Knox

Mrs. Geraldine B. Knox, 82, of Cochranton, widow of Herbert B. Knox, died Monday, August 10, 1981, at City Hospital.

She was born May 23, 1899, a daughter of Samuel and Josephine Whittling Black.

She formerly was employed as a sales clerk with the former Fahr's women's clothing store in Meadville.  She was a member of Cochranton United Methodist Church.

Survivors include a step-daughter, Mrs. Faye K. Sonneborn of Baltimore, MD; two nieces, Mrs. Paul (Josephine) Sipe of Meadville and Mrs. Florence Snyder of Cochranton and two nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
