Geraldine M. Wolff, 66, of Blooming Valley, died at her residence Monday, December 29, 1986, following a sudden illness. Crawford County Coroner G. Arden Hughes ruled that the death was of natural causes.
She was born in Meadville, May 21, 1920, a daughter of Isaac H. and Elizabeth F. Schreck Whistler. She married August R. "Jim" Wolff July 27, 1942. He died November 17, 1985.
Mrs. Wolff was a housewife. She was a member of St. Agatha's Church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. John (Diann) M. McCaskey of Townville; three sons, Roger L. Wolff of Blooming Valley, Denis J. Wolff of Meadville and David J. Wolff at home; two sisters, Mrs. Howard (Mildred) Wood of Cochranton and Mrs. Frank (Ruth) Krasa of Meadville; a half sister, Mrs. George (Hazel) Zeitler of Meadville; three brothers, Clarence Whistler and Paul Whistler, both of Meadville and Charles Whistler of Littles Corners and three grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by three sisters, Florence Whistler, Margaret Hollabaugh and Marie Prenatt; a half sister, Pearl Reisinger and two half brothers, Homer and Roy Whistler.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
