Geraldine M. (Gerry) (Woodring) Poux

Geraldine (Gerry) M. Poux, 94, of Frenchtown went to be with her Lord and Savior Tuesday, July 9, 2019 at the Meadville Medical Center.  She was born March 30, 1925 in Meadville the daughter of Otto Richard and Mary Irene Girard Woodring.  She married Achille (Junie) Poux, Jr. January 9, 1950 and he preceded her in death April 24, 1993.

She is survived by four children, Sharri Duval (David) of The Villages, FL, Rebecca Myers of Meadville, Timothy Poux (Kris) of Frenchtown and Janice Poux; six grandchildren, Tabitha Myers (Tom), Ryan Duval (Jackie), Matthew Duval, Ephraim Smith (Jenn), Alison Strickland (Bucky) and Ethan Smith; 8 great grandchildren, Alexis and Joshua Myers, Aidan, Cameron and Nolan Duval, Bailey Strickland and Aaron and Charlotte Smith; a sister-in-law, Ardelle Woodring and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Roland Woodring and two sisters, Marion Simmons and Mickey Zelasco.

Private graveside services will be held in Wayland Cemetery with Rev. Harold Walton, officiating.
