Geraldine A. (Froehlich) Sippel

Geraldine A. Sippel, 84, of Conneaut Lake went to glory Wednesday, March 22, 2017 at the Marquette Hospice House.

She was born November 14, 1932 in Pittsburgh, PA a daughter of Albert and Myrtle Ambrose Froehlich.  She married Norman E. Sippel November 23, 1960 and he preceded her in death May 7, 2000.

She was a 1951 graduate of South Hills High School and worked for many years in the bakery department of the Meadville Wal-Mart.  She also previously worked for US Airways in Pittsburgh.

She is survived by a sister, Nancy McCloskey and her husband Eugene of Bethel Park; a nephew, Michael McCloskey and his wife Suzanne of Pittsburgh and a niece, Beth Carson and her husband Don of East Palastine, OH.

In addition to her husband and parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Albert “Buddy” Froehlich and his wife Sally and a sister, Norma Trussell and her husband Charlie.

Calling hours will be Sunday from 1-4 p.m. at the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home, Inc., 12422 Conneaut Lake Road, Conneaut Lake.

The funeral service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at the funeral home with Rev. Brian Riddle, Pastor of Lake Lutheran Church, officiating.

Interment will be in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
