Gertrude A. Ferguson

March 3, 1912 — May 11, 1997

Gertrude A. Ferguson, of Meadville, a resident of Rolling Fields since June of 1992, died there Sunday, May 11, 1997 following a period of declining health.

She was born in Meadville, a daughter of the late George and Clara (Heath) Feldmiller.  She married F. Arden Ferguson in 1936.  He died in 1984.

She worked for several years at Talon, was an active member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ, a volunteer with the American Cancer Society since 1950, a member of the Meadville Women's Club and a graduate of Meadville High School.

Survivors include a son, George A. Ferguson of Meadville; four nieces and several great nieces and nephews.  She was preceded in death by a brother, Charles A. Feldmiller.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Cochranton Cemetery.
