Gertrude A. Wood

Miss Gertrude A. Wood, died Friday morning at the home of her sisters, Mrs. Carrie S. Waid and Miss Ida E. Wood of Meadville.

She was born at Moreau, Saratoga County, NY and moved with her parents and family while young to Guys Mills.  She spent her active life as a teacher and since her retirement has resided in Guys Mills.

Her two sisters are the only surviving relatives.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
