Gladys W. Flaugh, 55, wife of Winton L. Flaugh, of Guys Mills, died Friday, May 2, 1980, at Spencer Hospital following an illness of nine months.
She was born in Stroudsburg, October 14, 1924, a daughter of Glenn F. and Nellie Morrison Woodcock. She married Flaugh, February 22, 1947.
She had been employed since 1978 in the office of domestic relations at Crawford County Courthouse. Prior to that, she was an office secretary with Meadowbrook Dairy for 10 years. She also worked for the former Sealtest Dairy from 1946-50 and sold Dutch-maid clothing for a number of years.
She was a graduate of Meadville Commercial College. She was a member of the United Church of Guys Mills, the church ladies aux. and church guild.
Survivors, in addition to her husband, include two daughters, Mrs. Tom (Judy) Hiem of Coraopolis and Joan Flaugh of Wheeling, WV; two sons, Jack of Conneaut Lake and John of Guys Mills; her father of Guys Mills; a sister, Mrs. Clifford (Mae) Sutley of Guys Mills; a brother, Richard G. Woodcock of Youngsville; one niece, two nephews and one grandchild.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Union Cemetery, Guys Mills.
