Gladys W. Malone

Gladys W. Malone, 81, of Conneaut Lake and formerly of Erie, died Sunday, March 19, 2006 at Meadville Medical Center.

She was born in Elgin, IL November 29, 1924, a daughter of the late William H. and Elizabeth Williams Edwards.  She married Michael Malone December 12, 1941 and he preceded her in death in 1995.

She worked in assembly at Firch’s Bakery, Erie.

She was a member of St. Michael’s Church, Erie and enjoyed fishing, hunting, bowling, sewing, and especially time spent with her family and grandchildren.

Survivors include a daughter, Patty McLanahan and her companion Clarence Moffitt of Conneaut Lake; 3 sons, Michael Malone and his wife Bonnie of Albion; Gary Malone and his wife Diane of Saegertown; and Terry Malone of Erie; 14 grandchildren; 17 great-grandchildren; 1 great-great-granddaughter, Alicia Ann; and numerous nieces and nephews.  In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by 2 daughters, Susan Eddinger and Cheryl Ann Malone; 3 sisters; and 1 brother.

Services will be at the convenience of the family.
