Glenn C. Shumaker

Glenn C. Shumaker, 66, of Guys Mills, died Friday, August 28, 1998 at Meadville Medical Center following a one year illness.

He was born January 30, 1932 in Armstrong Co., PA, a son of the late LeRoy and Mabel Wadding Shumaker.  He married Donna Hoover February 11, 1957.  She survives.

Mr. Shumaker retired in 1993 as a custodian at Saegertown Manufacturing Corp. following 14 years of service.  He previously worked for several years at Meadville Malleable.  He enjoyed hunting and fishing.

He attended the Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses in Cambridge Springs.

Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a son, David Morse (Cheryl) of Guys Mills; four grandchildren; two brothers, Dewayne Shumaker of St. Marysville, WA and Wade Shumaker of Oxnard, CA; four sisters, Mrs. Charles (Merrilyn) Kohler of Los Angeles, CA, Mrs. Gene (Charlotte) Latuk of Belle Vier, FL, Mrs. Bernard (Lucille) Seigworth of Guys Mills and Mrs. Larry (Joanne) Abbott of Guys Mills and several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by a brother, Lee Shumaker.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Radle Cemetery, Randolph Township.
