Glenn Oberrath, 71, of Meadville, died Friday, April 11, 1986, at Meadville Medical Center following a two-year illness.
Mr. Oberrath was born in Cleveland, November 2, 1914, a son of Otto and Clara Dombrowski Oberrath. He married Carol Sears May 24, 1947. She survives.
He was a machinist at Ford Motor Co., Brook Park, OH, for 20 years. He previously was employed at Modern Tool and Die Co., Cleveland, for five years. He was a member of Our Lady of Good Council Roman Catholic, Cleveland. He was a volunteer with the Boy Scouts and Cub Scouts.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include two daughters, Mrs. Lorrene Thome of Brook Park and Elena Oberrath at home; two sons, Randy Oberrath of Townville and David Oberrath of Blooming Valley; four sisters, Irene Ebsch of Maple Heights, OH, Vera Miller and Ruth Bartholme, both of Parma, OH and June Smetanka of Strongsville, OH; one brother, Warren Oberrath of Auburndale, FL; and nine grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one brother, Melvyn Oberrath and two sisters, Dorothy Opp and Iona Bezula.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Kingsley Cemetery.
