Gloria Jean Davis

Gloria Jean Davis, 45, of Cambridge Springs, died Thursday, October 5, 2000, as a result of an auto accident.

She was born in Meadville, October 25, 1954, a daughter of Ralph and Marge Sybrant Smith.

She married Robert Davis in June 1999.  He survives.

For the past year and a half, she worked as an operator at the Meadville PennDOT office.  Previously, she worked at W.L. Dunn Construction and for the American General Insurance Co.

She was a member of Lyona Bible Church and a 1972 graduate of the former Randolph-East Mead High School.  She enjoyed horseback and trail riding and her two Morgan horses.

Survivors, in addition to her parents and husband, include, two stepsons, Brent and Nicholas Davis of Cambridge Springs; three sisters, Sheryl Lewis (Don) of Meadville, Lois Burns (Ron) of Conneautville and Connie Snyder of Conneautville and three nephews and two nieces.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Kingsley Cemetery, Townville.
