Goldie Mae Tiger, 81, of Conneaut Lake, died Friday, January 23, 2004 at White Cliff Nursing Home, Greenville, PA.
She was born May 30, 1922 in Hartstown, PA the daughter of Arthur B. and Rosa May Williams Sutton. She married Raymond Zarembinsky in 1947, he died in 1977 and she subsequently married Philip C. Tiger in 1980 and he died in 1995.
She was a 1940 graduate of Jamestown High School and was formerly employed by US Steel in Farrell and Talon in Meadville.
She attended Trinity United Methodist Church, Conneaut Lake, was a member of the Linesville Tops, life member of Harmonsburg Volunteer Fire Department Ladies Aux. and life time member of Linesville VFW Ladies Aux. She enjoyed fishing, walking, cooking and baking. Most of all, Goldie loved her family and enjoyed her many friends.
She is survived by a step son, John L. Tiger (Marcia) of Poland, OH; a sister, Rose Young (Robert) of Hermitage, PA; a brother, Frank Sutton of Gibsonia; two grandchildren, Jim Zarembinsky and Donald Zarembinsky; two step-grandsons, Beau and Kip Tiger and two great-grandchildren, Cristan and Keyera.
In addition to her husbands, she was preceded in death by a son, Donald Ray Zarembinsky in 1972; two sisters, Betty Greenfield and Daisy Artman; six brothers, Ernest Sutton, Kenneth Sutton, infant Ward, Burton Sutton, Myron Sutton and Lloyd Sutton.
Services were held with the Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.
Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
