Grace H. Mangan

Grace H. Mangan, 82, of Meadville, died Sunday, December 29, 1996 at her residence following a period of declining health.

She was born on June 30, 1914 in Anniston, AL, a daughter of Green B. and Lola Grubbs Hughes.  She married Roy E. Boots Mangan on October 15, 1949.  He preceded her in death on October 5, 1983.

Mrs. Mangan worked at Talon for 34 years retiring as an inspector in the separating department.  She was a member of the Mead Chapter, Order of Eastern Star, NW Commandary #25 Knights of Templar Aux., Meadville Medical Center Aux., AARP, Crawford County Humane Society and retired member of the International Assn. of Machinists and Aerospace Workers Local 2213.

She was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ and its Sisters Sunday School Class and church guild.

Survivors include one sister, Jewel Thrower of Meadville; one brother, John W. Hughes of Ormond Beach, FL and three nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
