Grace M. Crouse

Mrs. Grace M. Crouse, 76, resident of the Methodist Home for the Aged, died Tuesday morning, April 27, 1965, at City Hospital following a brief illness.

She was born at Stoneboro, September 25, 1888, a daughter of George and Elizabeth Alexander McClure.  She was a graduate of the Collegiate Institute at Fredonia and of the Sherwood School of Music.  For many years, she taught piano and organ and for the past five years had been in charge of the music program at the home.

Mrs. Crouse moved from Mt. Jewett to the home October 25, 1958, after the death of her husband, Ira S. Crouse.  She was a member of Mt. Jewett Methodist Church where she had been organist.

She is survived by a brother, Audley McClure of Orlando, FL; a grandson, Terry Crouse of Cuyahoga Falls, OH; and several nieces and nephews.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Bridgeview Cemetery, Mt. Jewett.
