Grace M. Davis

Grace M. Davis, 88, of Stewart Street, Meadville, died Sunday, December 20, 2009 at the Meadville Medical Center.

She was born July 26, 1921 in Indiana, PA a daughter of Harry W. and Bertha Miller Moore.  She married William P. Davis and he preceded her in death January 1, 1991.

She retired from Talon Inc. after 43 years of service.  She was a member of the First Presbyterian Church, a life member of VFW Post #2006, a life member of the Elks Lodge #219 Auxiliary and a member of the Meadville Grottoettes.

Survivors, include: her daughter-in-law, Diane M. Moore of Meadville; three grandchildren, Pamela Reefer and her husband Tracy of Gotha, FL, Sharon Weller and her husband Jonathan of Moon Twp., PA and Charles R. Moore, Jr. of Charlotte, NC; eight step-grandchildren, Constance Custer, Michele Tau, Barbara Cely, Todd Davis, Tamara Haverfield, Tracey Morrison, Chris Davis and Scott Davis; six great grandchildren, Tiffany Reefer, Christian Reefer, Lauren Reefer, Tyler Reefer, Madison Weller and Taylor Weller; fifteen step-great grandchildren and three step great great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Charles R. Moore; a step-son, William P. Davis Jr., a step-daughter, Barbara Skelton; two sisters, Marie Moore and Margaret Frisina and six brothers, Joseph Moore, William Moore, Harry Moore, Howard Moore, Burt Moore and Stewart Moore.

The funeral service will be Tuesday at 7 p.m. at the Robert W. Waid Funeral Home, Inc., 581 Chestnut Street, Meadville with the Rev. Dr. Brian K. Jensen, Pastor of First Presbyterian Church, officiating.

Burial will be in Greendale Cemetery
