Grace Roberts

Mrs. Grace Roberts, 87, of Meadville, died Thursday, March 25, 1976, at Mead Nursing Home where she had been a patient for one year.

She was born in Meadville on September 1, 1888, a daughter of Abraham C. and Elizabeth Frantzman Grindrod.  On January 28, 1928, she married Edgar C. Roberts who died in 1959.  In her earlier years, Mrs. Roberts was employed as a bookkeeper by the J. H. Nunn Co.  She was a member of Mead Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star.

Survivors include three grandchildren, Mrs. Paul D. (Theresa) Kelly and Mrs. Stephen P. (Carol) Scavotto, both of Falmouth, MA and Jeffrey P. Roberts of Meadville; a great-granddaughter, Heather Ann Roberts of Meadville; and a nephew, Paul Grindrod of Saegertown.

In addition to her husband, she was preceded in death by a son.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Erie Cemetery.
