Grayce Irene Cunningham

November 5, 1921 — January 11, 2007

Grayce Irene Cunningham, 85, formerly of Conneaut Lake and a resident of White Cliff Nursing Home, Greenville, died there Thursday, January 11, 2007.

She was born November 5, 1921 in Leech's Corners, PA, a daughter of the late Calvin Lemuel and Bessie McMichaels Mattocks.  She married Eugene Orr Cunningham December 6, 1945 and he preceded her in death April 28, 2003.

She was a graduate of Conneaut Lake High School, was a homemaker and had worked at Talon during World War II.

She was a member of Trinity United Methodist Church where she was formerly active as a Sunday School teacher, choir member, officer and member of the Women's Society of Christian Service, and served on the church board.  She was a former Girl Scout leader and had been active in Cub Boy Scouts.  She enjoyed painting.

Survivors include two sons, Harry M. Cunningham (Carol) of Butler and Lt. Col. Jeffry E. Cunningham (Susan) of Roswell, NM; a daughter, Christine Bloom (Kenneth) of Phoenix, AZ; eight grandchildren, Valerie Lynn Kurth, Andrew Jeremy Cunningham, Matthew Pitor Bloom, Melissa Grayce Bloom, Elizabeth Bloom, Kirstie Renee Cunningham, Rachel Lynne Cunningham, and Glen William Cunningham; two great-grandchildren, Carrie Nicole and Liam Andrew Kurth and nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husband, she was preceded in death by nine brothers and sisters.

Services were held at Waid-Coleman Funeral Home.
