Guy E. Nageotte, 68, of Meadville, died at Spencer Hospital, Wednesday, November 9, 1960, after a short illness.
He was born in Elk County near Ridgway, December 8, 1891, a son of Leon and Jennie Shelvey Nageotte.
A member of St. Hippolyte Roman Catholic Church, Frenchtown, he was a machinist for the Erie Railroad from 1912 to 1955.
A veteran of World War I, he served in France from April 7, 1918 to April 5, 1919. He was a member of the American Legion and of the Erie Railroad Veterans Assn.
Survivors include a sister and three brothers, all of Meadville, Mrs. George (Mary) Findlay, III, F. LeRoy, Alvin R. and Leon Leonard and several nieces and nephews.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in St. Agatha's Cemetery.
