Guy Marcel Bobbitt, 75 of Jackson Center, passed away on the evening of February 6, 2018 at his home. Guy was born on July 18, 1942 to Suzanne Mone Bobbitt and the late Gilbert Bobbitt. Guy was a 1960 graduate of Lakeview High School. He learned to work at the early age of 12 by bailing hay. He later worked for foster grading and Reznor as a General Foreman for 40 years. Guy married his beloved wife, Judy Myers Bobbitt, on July 1, 1961, she survives at home. Guy loved to garden and golf. He was an avid hunter, loving to hunt with his children and grandchildren. He adored his two dogs, both shih tzu-poodle mixes. He loved to work around his home as well as at his son’s homes and working on tractors. He liked to travel with his children and going to many tractor shows. In addition to his wife and mother, Guy is survived by two sons, Guy Bobbitt and his wife Mary, and Michael Bobbitt and his wife Amy, all of Jackson Center, seven grandchildren, Abby, Jeremy, Chris, Alexis, Matthew, Devin, and Dylan, and a great-grandson, Grayson. In addition to his father, Guy was preceded in death by an infant son, Steven Bobbitt, a sister Shirley DeLong, and a brother James Bobbitt. Funeral arrangements have been entrusted to the Black Funeral Home, Stoneboro. Funeral arrangements will be private. Interment will be in Pleasant Hill Cemetery.
