Harold C. Fenton

January 20, 1907 — December 31, 1966

Harold C. Fenton, 59, of Meadville, died Saturday, December 31, 1966, at Cleveland Clinic Hospital, Cleveland, OH, where he had been a patient most recently for about five weeks.  Mr. Fenton had been in ill health for the past six months.

Born at Philipsburg on January 20, 1907, he was the son of John and Nellie Simpson Fenton.  He was married to Marjorie A. Ackert of Meadville, on August 28, 1937.

Mr. Fenton had worked for Talon, Inc., for a number of years as a plumber.  He was a member of Christ Episcopal Church; Lodge No. 408, Free and Accepted Masons, and of the New Castle Consistory.  He was a former member of Northwest Commandery No. 25, Knights Templar and Zem Zem Temple, Erie.  He belonged to the Plumbers Union.

Surviving are the widow; three sisters, Mrs. John (Nellie Jean) Todd of Baltimore, MD, Mrs. William (Janet) Grafius of Niagara Falls, NY and Mrs. Sara Adelman of Pittsburgh; and two brothers, Barrett R. Fenton of Lock Haven and Robert S. Fenton of Tonawanda, NY.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
