Harold W. Shoop, 46, of Meadville, died Monday while at work at Meadville Precision Tool & Mold, Inc., where he had been employed for the past year.
Mr. Shoop was a maintenance man with the company and prior to that he was self employed in the milk hauling business for 21 years.
He was born at Blooming Valley, July 25, 1919, a son of Ralph and Lettie Gerdon Shoop, and married Margaret Smith September 20, 1943.
Mr. Shoop attended Wayland Baptist Church and was a member of Blooming Valley Volunteer Fire Department and Randolph Grange.
Surviving, besides his widow, are two daughters, Doris Ann and Molly Marie at home; two sons, Harold W., Jr. and Ralph H. at home; his mother of Meadville; a brother, Charles R. of Meadville; and three half-sisters, Mrs. James (Ruth) Brady of McKean, Mrs. Wayne (Ralphene) Gibson of Erie and Mrs. Neal (Beryl) Myers of Boston.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Blooming Valley Cemetery.
