Harold Wayne Galford

Harold Wayne Galford, 87, of Meadville, passed away Sunday, November 13, 2022 at his residence.

He was born August 5, 1935 in Meadville, a son of Frank and Ida Gum Galford.

Harold was a 1953 graduate of Townville High School.  He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army, serving from 1961 to 1962.  He worked at Loblaws, as a supervisor for UPS in several locations including Erie for several years, and subsequently as a truck driver for PPG Industries.  He enjoyed hunting and antiquing in his spare time.

Survivors include two sons, Dale Galford of Longwood, FL and Gary Galford (Ann) of Meadville; two granddaughters, Alexandra Galford (Benjamin Gonzalez) of Longwood, FL and Jacqueline Galford of Pittsburgh; his former wife, Betty Spaid Galford; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, James Galford; and five sisters, Hazel Goodwill, Frances Weed, Kathryn McQuiston, Eula Orr, and Virginia Root.

Per Harold’s wishes, services are private with interment in Venango Cemetery.
