Harriet M. Ellis

Mrs. Harriet M. Ellis, 71, of Meadville, died early Saturday, October 19, 1963, at her home.  She was the widow of Lester D. Ellis whom she married November 24, 1915.

Mrs. Ellis was born in Lapeer County, Michigan, November 17, 1891, a daughter of Jonathan and Elizabeth Doherty Ferrier.  She was a member of First Presbyterian Church; Golden Crown Chapter, Order of the Eastern Star and the Grottoettes.

Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Ella E. Hildebran, at home and Mrs. Paul L. (Irene) Stevenson of Meadville; three brothers, I. A. Ferrier of Imlay, MI, A. A. Ferrier of Pontiac, MI and Elmer Ferrier of Port Huron, MI and four grandchildren.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Brookhouser Cemetery, Saegertown.
