Harriett S. Faux

Harriett S. Faux, 74, of Meadville, a former secretary, died Thursday, December 31, 1992 at Meadville Medical Center after a two-month illness.

She was born October 29, 1918 in Blaine Township, Washington County, a daughter of Harry B. and Beulah Crothers Scott.  She married Charles Faux October 10, 1945.  He survives.

She was a former office secretary for Dr. Ewing, Dr. Saavedra and the First Presbyterian Church, Meadville.  She previously was an executive secretary at Moalybdenum Corp., Washington, PA.  She was a member of the First Christian Church of Meadville, its Faith Circle and the Mead Chapter of Order of the Eastern Star.  She was a graduate of Trinity High School, Washington, and the Washington Seminary.

In addition to her husband, survivors include a son, C. Paul Faux of Miami and three grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by a sister, Helen Hudgens; and a brother, Samuel Scott.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Claysville Cemetery.
