Harry A. Ewing

December 7, 1865 — January 1, 1753

Harry A. Ewing, 74, died Friday afternoon, after an extended illness, at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Edward Spaid of Meadville.

Mr. Ewing was born in East Mead Township, the son of James Ewing and Fanny Byham Ewing, and spent nearly his entire life in East Mead and Randolph Township.  He wife, Elizabeth Storry Ewing, preceded him in death in June of last year.

Mr. Ewing is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Edward Spaid and Mrs. Charles Spaid of Woodcock Township; two sons, Don Ewing of Guys Mills and Floyd Ewing of East Liverpool, O.  Also surviving are eleven grandchildren, four sisters, Mrs. Arthur Ash, Mrs. Fred Papenfuse and Mrs. J. P. Harter, all of Meadville and Mrs. Ida Smith, Cambridge Springs and one brother, J. C. Ewing of Meadville.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Ewing Cemetery, East Mead Township.
