Harry A. Mccartney

Harry A. McCartney, 95, formerly of Randolph Township, died at Conneautville Nursing Home on Monday, June 19, 1972, after a long illness.  He had been at the nursing home since April 1971.

He was born in Randolph Township on January 24, 1877, a son of James A. and Hulda Lyon McCartney.  He married Sara Jones on October 4, 1915.  She died in 1959.  Mr. McCartney formerly was a farmer in Randolph Township.

Survivors include two sisters-in-law, Mrs. Ida Scowden of Saegertown and Mrs. Velva Roha of Meadville and several nieces and nephews, including Mrs. Mary Monnin of Saegertown and Mrs. Autumn Neff and Neil Roha, both of Meadville.  Two sisters preceded him in death.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Radle Cemetery, Randolph Township.
