Harry C. Willey

Harry C. Willey, 95, formerly of Wilkinsburg, who had resided at Wesbury United Methodist Community since July 1, 1981, died at Wesbury Tuesday, March 8, 1988, after period of failing health.

He was born in Copeland, Westmoreland County, October 30, 1892, a son of Mr. and Mrs. Otto Willey.  He married Ann Braun February 8, 1951.  She died February 23, 1985.

Mr. Willey was retired from Jones and Laughlin Steel Corp. of Pittsburgh.  He was a member of the Ross Avenue United Methodist Church of Pittsburgh, was a veteran of World War II, a member of the American Legion and a member of the Sons and Daughters of Liberty.

Nieces and nephews are his only survivors.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Allegany Cemetery Mausoleum in Pittsburgh.
