Harry E. Donnell, 64, of Cambridge Springs, died Tuesday, October 23, 1990, at Springs Manor following a period of failing health.
He was born in Fredericksburg, Vernon Township, August 27, 1926, a son of Alexander Hart and Edythe Barlow Donnell. He married Pauline Tau on December 31, 1947. She survives.
He retired as a store room clerk from Meadville Medical Center after 31 years. He was a member of the First Church of God and the Christian and Missionary Alliance Church of Cambridge Springs. He was a veteran of the US Army, having served in the Korean conflict. He was a former civil defense director for Cambridge Springs and a member of the Cambridge Springs Volunteer Fire Department.
Survivors, in addition to his wife, include a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Beverly) Haun, Sr. of Centerville; a son, Harry E. Donnell, Jr. of Cambridge Springs; a sister, Mrs. Ike (Eleanor) Koon of Venango; a half sister, Mrs. Howard (Lucille) Norwat of Independence, MO; a half brother, Raymond A. Donnell of Cambridge Springs; several nieces and nephews and two grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by a half-sister.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Venango Cemetery.
