Harry F. Phillips

Harry F. Phillips, 83, died Sunday afternoon at the home of his daughter, Mrs. Frank A. Grounds of Meadville, after of long illness.

He spent his early life at Monongahela, later moving to Pittsburgh.

He had lived at the Grounds home since 1947.

He was an inspector of the Otis Elevator Co. until he retired in 1938.

He was a member of the Monongahela Presbyterian Church.

Survivors are Mrs. Grounds; a son, John W. Phillips of Wheeling WV;  and two granddaughters.

Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Monongahela Cemetery.
