Harry C. (Bill) Faloon

September 24, 1901 — December 18, 1962

Harry C. (Bill) Faloon, 61, of Meadville, well-known insurance executive, died Tuesday, December 18, 1962, in the emergency room at City Hospital.

He was born at East Brady, Clarion County, September 24, 1901, a son of Robert W. and Jennie Weaver Faloon.  He attended high school at Linesville.

Before coming to Meadville in 1936 to manage the local office of the Metropolitan Life Insurance Co., Mr. Faloon had lived in Oil City.  In 1944, he moved to Altoona but returned to Meadville in 1946 to open his own insurance agency.  He merged the agency with the Thomas H. Deloe agency in the Masonic Building five years ago and since had been associated with the Deloe agency.

Mr. Faloon was active in community affairs, having served a six-year term as a director of Meadville School Board.  He was a member and past president of Meadville Lions Club; past president and life member of the board of advisers of Meadville Rainbow Girls; member of Meadville Country Club and Masonic Lodge 408, and a member of Stone Methodist Church, its Official Board and the board of ushers.

Surviving are his widow, the former M. Alberta Williams; a daughter, Mrs. Edward A. (Suzanne) DeVore of Meadville; two brothers, Edward R. Faloon of Toledo, OH and Donald W. Faloon of Pittsburgh; and two grandchildren.

Service were held at Waid Funeral Home.

Interment was in Roselawn Memorial Gardens.
