Harry J. Hills, 66, Randolph Township farmer, died while at work on his farm this morning about 8:45 a.m.
Mr. Hills' early life was spent in the Springboro area. He was a policeman in Cambridge Springs for several years, and later was a guard during World War II at the Keystone Ordnance Works, near Geneva.
He is survived by his widow, Paula, five children, Miss Violet Hills of Erie, Alton Hills of Meadville, Mrs. Anthony Tartaglione of Meadville, Reid Woodard of Conneautville and Frank Leonhart, Jr. at home. The latter is a step son.
Eight grandchildren survive, also, as do a brother, Wallace E. Hills of Springboro and a sister, Mrs. Lawn Hall of Edinboro.
Services were held at Waid Funeral Home.
Interment was in Mt. Hope Cemetery.
